Remote Front End Developer

About SchemeServe

For 26 years, SchemeServe has helped transform insurance products into successful, profitable solutions.

We’re always looking for new ways to innovate and improve. We strive to challenge industry norms and bring a unique personality to our work.

In a nutshell, SchemeServe is a UK-based Insurance SaaS solution specialising in services for starting, managing, and growing traditional (and specialist) insurance products. It was started in 2000 by our CEO and Founder, Adam, and the software now represents the leading edge in super-fast scheme deployment and truly Obsessive Support ™.

We’re fully remote, but we get together twice a year for some not-so-serious, and teeny tiny bit of serious, time together. We value self-development and encourage everyone to keep learning and take on new challenges. To help with this, we offer learning budgets for courses, books, and workshops.

Since we’re remote, we don’t offer free snacks or bean bags, but we do provide flexible work arrangements, a healthy work-life balance, and a friendly company culture. Every Thursday, we have 'Elevenses,' where anyone can join a video call to catch up, share stories, or play games. It helps us stay connected.

About The Role

Enjoy the freedom of remote work while playing a key role in shaping the tools that thousands of brokers and insurers rely on. By enhancing our front-end, you'll improve user interfaces that empower professionals to manage schemes more efficiently and provide excellent service to their clients, all from the comfort of your home.

If you're a passionate Front-end Developer in the UK who knows React.js and modern front-end tools, this opportunity could be an excellent fit for you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
