Senior Front End Engineer (React), Outside IR35 - Fully Remote

We're partnering with an exciting, venture-backed fintech that's building an AI-powered platform for the financial services sector. Following a successful funding journey and the achievement of SOC 2 compliance, they're entering the next phase of growth and are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to take ownership of their frontend architecture.

This isn't a role for someone who simply delivers tickets. They're looking for an experienced React engineer who can bring structure, strategy and engineering best practices to an existing platform that has been built rapidly during the early stages of the business.

You'll work closely with the founders, helping shape the future direction of the product while creating a scalable, secure and maintainable frontend capable of supporting enterprise financial institutions.

The Role

You'll be responsible for taking ownership of the frontend, reviewing the existing application and defining how it should evolve as the platform scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
