Senior Frontend Engineer
React and TypeScript | £70,000 to £100,000 | Permanent | Fully remote in the UK
Candidates must be based in the UK for the face to face final stage interview
Senior Frontend Engineer required by an established financial technology company to join its AI product team, building productivity applications for communication, writing, organisation and planning.
You’ll build core AI integrated product experiences across chat, documents, and other areas, with AI built into how people use them. You’ll own substantial features from technical design to release, work closely with product and engineering, and have a say in how the frontend is built.

What you’ll do
- Build complex web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Develop interfaces for messaging, collaboration, rich text editing, scheduling, tables and spreadsheets.
- Integrate streaming AI responses and model driven actions.
- Design reusable frontend architecture and components.
- Own performance, responsiveness, reliability and accessibility.
- Work with product, design, backend and AI engineers from design through to release.
What you’ll need
- Recent, hands on experience building complex production applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience building substantial production web products with complex workflows and interactive interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, browser APIs and performance.
- Experience with complex interfaces such as chat, collaboration, document editing, calendars, workspaces or comparable productivity products.
- Hands on experience with WebSockets, streaming APIs or real time interfaces.
- Experience owning frontend features from technical design through to production.
- Any experience of Next.js, Node.js, REST APIs or GraphQL would be useful too.
