Senior Full Stack Developer – 3-Month Contract

£500–£600 per day | Remote within the UK | 3 months | Immediate/ASAP start

About the Opportunity

Want to spend the next three months actually building and shipping, rather than sitting in endless meetings?

We’re looking for three Senior Full Stack Developers to join a major ecommerce migration at a critical point in its delivery.

This isn’t a contract where you’ll spend the first few weeks figuring out why you’re there. The roadmap exists. The tickets are ready. The work is waiting.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be joining specifically to add senior engineering firepower, increase delivery velocity and help take an ambitious ecommerce platform through migration, launch and the period immediately afterwards.

  • Your focus is simple: come in, understand the environment quickly and deliver.
  • Work through an established backlog, building new pages and UI components, developing new functionality and features.
  • Write server-side code and tackle bugs as the platform moves towards and through go-live.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

There’s minimal ceremony and no expectation that you’ll manage a team. You’re being hired because you’re an experienced engineer who can take ownership of work and get good code into production.

The role leans towards the front end, but this is not a pure UI position. You’ll need to be comfortable working across the stack and writing server-side code.

What We're Looking For

The two big ones are:

  • Strong commercial TypeScript experience
  • Strong ecommerce experience

You should also have genuine full-stack capability and be comfortable working with modern React-based architectures.

Experience with:

  • React
  • Next.js or React Server Components

Would translate well into the environment.

Even better if you’ve worked with some of the following:

  • Astro
  • Contentful or another modern CMS
  • commercetools
  • Algolia

You don't need to tick every box.

If you’re a strong senior engineer with TypeScript, e-commerce, and modern full-stack experience, we’d still like to speak with you.

Why Take This Contract?

Because you'll be brought in to make a visible difference.

This is a live migration with a clear deadline and plenty left to build. You won't be sitting on the sidelines maintaining something nobody cares about — you'll be helping get an important ecommerce platform over the line.

It should suit contractors who enjoy joining projects at the point where experience, pace and pragmatism really matter.

  • You'll work remotely, use your own equipment and have the autonomy expected of a senior contractor.

Contract: 3 months
Day rate: £500–£600 per day
Location: Remote
Positions: 3
Start: ASAP

The interview process will also reflect the project's urgency: one video interview with the Head of Technology, rather than a drawn-out, multi-stage process.

If you’re an experienced Full Stack Developer who can get up to speed quickly and wants three months of meaningful, hands-on ecommerce delivery, apply now and we’ll talk you through the project.
