Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid schedule)
Location: London
This opportunity sits within a Trading & Supply environment and offers the chance to contribute to the design, development and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications. The role will support full-stack development across responsive UI, APIs, microservices and cloud-based deployments, while also influencing architecture, performance and technical best practice. This position is well suited to candidates with strong experience across modern front-end frameworks, back-end technologies, cloud platforms and Agile delivery.
Required Experience
- 6–10+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications.
- Experience building APIs, microservices and system integrations.
- Experience working with cloud platforms for application hosting and deployments.
- Experience participating in sprint planning, estimation, grooming and Agile ceremonies.
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers and contributing to technical direction.

Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including React, Angular or Vue, alongside HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid back-end development experience with Node.js, .NET, Java or Python.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Strong database knowledge across SQL platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQL Server, as well as NoSQL technologies including MongoDB, Cosmos DB and DynamoDB.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, ideally Azure or AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Ability to contribute to application architecture, technical designs, sequence diagrams and solution documentation.
- Strong problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives within Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures or serverless technologies.
- Exposure to security practices, OAuth2, SSO and secure coding principles.
- Prior experience leading development streams.
- Exposure to DataBricks, PowerBI and Python.
