We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, delivering, and maintaining modern, scalable, and maintainable web applications for a range of clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Take a leading role in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality web applications for a range of clients.
- Work closely with developers, testers, designers, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver robust and effective technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership within project teams, helping to make sound technical decisions and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code, setting a strong example for development best practices and coding standards.
- Contribute to application architecture and technical design, working with the wider team to make appropriate technology and implementation decisions.
- Lead and contribute to code reviews, helping to maintain quality and supporting the development of other team members.
- Mentor and support less experienced developers, helping them develop their technical skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advocate for automated testing and work closely with QA and developers to improve and extend automated test coverage.
- Investigate complex technical issues and take ownership of identifying and delivering effective solutions.
- Provide technical input into project planning, including estimations, identifying risks and dependencies, and breaking down complex work into clear, actionable tasks.
- Participate in client meetings, clearly communicating technical approaches, progress, risks, and potential blockers.
- Help establish and continuously improve development standards, processes, and best practices across the team.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and support activities such as coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical research.
- Help establish good practices for the responsible use of AI-assisted development, ensuring AI-generated outputs are understood, reviewed, tested, and meet appropriate standards for security, quality, and maintainability.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and approaches, including developments in AI-assisted software engineering, and identify opportunities where they could provide value.

What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:

Nice to Have:
- Strong experience with Docker and containerised development environments.
- Experience designing and working with cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
- Experience with application performance optimisation, including database optimisation, caching, and improving application performance.
- Experience contributing to or defining application architecture and technical standards.
- Experience implementing or improving automated testing strategies.
- Experience evaluating and introducing developer tools, including AI-assisted development tools, into engineering teams.
- Experience with React Native or other mobile application development frameworks.
