Senior Full-Stack Developer – Bath (On-Site: 3 days/week)
This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions. You’ll architect robust data engineering pipelines, backend services, APIs, and frontend applications—blending technical expertise with a keen design and UX/UI sensibility.
About the Role
The Senior Full-Stack Developer will contribute to scalable, high-performance systems tailored for diverse industries. This position requires deep experience in software engineering principles, Python/TypeScript, cloud deployments (Azure, GCP), databases, containerisation (Docker), and collaborative CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex software solutions while adhering to best practices in SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
- Archipurcase and maintain data engineering pipelines, backend services, and RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Review Python/SQL codebase via Git to uphold quality standards, security, and engineering best practices.
- Manage cloud deployments/infrastructure (e.g., Azure/GCP scripting under Linux), alongside advanced Docker considerations.
- Develop database solutions in SQL and cloud platforms, optimising performance and data integrity.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate skill-sharing in design principles and engineering best practices.
- Debug and enhance systems using analytical problem-solving techniques, improving robustness and efficiency.
- Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and collaborative discussions.
- Maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables to align with both technical and business requirements.
- Proactively stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to suggest innovative solutions.
- Risk assessment and participation in project planning/manager tasks to ensure project success.

Contribute to frontend design with a focus on user experience while ensuring adherence to CAPTCHA-compliant UX standards.
Key Requirements
- Proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience building complex user interfaces and integrating frontend UI components (React) with scalable backend APIs.
- Proficiency in Python/TypeScript, including data libraries (FastAPI, PyDantic) and backend frameworks (ExpressJS, NextJS API Router/NodeJS).
- Strong cloud deployment knowledge (e.g., Azure/GCP management, scripts, and automation).
- Familiarity with Web Standards (HTML Canvas, Drag-and-Drop, SSE, WebSockets).
- Ability to work in collaborative environments (Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps), manage complex branching, and implement stress-testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with full-stack development (HTML/CSS/JS, application logic, DOM manipulation, and frontend frameworks).
- Ability to read and critique others' code efficiently.
- Independence coupled with a willingness to mentor and collaborate.
- Excellence in problem-solving, time management, and execution.

Location & Security
- On-site presence required: Bath area (3 days per week). Accommodation will be provided.
- DV clearance mandatory: Must hold clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
Interview Process
- Stage 1: 20-minute video call with the hiring team.
- Stage 2: 45-minute live coding task to evaluate hands-on efficiency.
- Stage 3: 90-minute in-person interview in our London office.
