The role: Senior Full Stack Engineer – C# | Kafka | Azure

Contract: 6-month contract to start ASAP

Salary/rate: £700-£750 per day, INSIDE IR35

Location: London – hybrid working with days onsite (days TBC)

You must be fully clear to work in the UK with no visa / sponsorship requirements – this is non-negotiable

We're hiring for a Senior/Manager-level Full Stack Engineer to join a newly forming team building event-driven capability for a Private Sector energy trading business in London.

You'll be building event adapters and services in C# on Azure, connecting trading/market data systems into a Kafka-based event streaming platform; low-latency, high-stakes, real-time data. Joining a small 3–4 person build team, sitting alongside a 40-person data platform org.

Must haves:

  • Strong commercial full stack background: C# as primary language with a min. of 8+ years in a relevant position
  • Hands-on building services/integrations/adapters end-to-end
  • Microsoft Azure experience
  • Proven Apache Kafka experience (or comparable event streaming tech)
