We’re supporting a disruptive EdTech SaaS startup to land their 1st Full-time, permanent Engineering hire!
This is an opportunity to get in at the ground-floor of a startup that’s making waves in the Education sector with their Operating System for teachers. Their platform brings pupil information together and strengthens connections between teachers and parents.
They’ve just closed a fundraising round, and are looking for the person who can help them build what comes next. They’re just getting started…
The role
This is not a “here’s your ticket, go build it” job.
As the first senior engineering hire, you’ll have genuine ownership. You’ll work directly with the co-founder to understand the problem, shape the solution, make the technical decisions, build it, test it and get it into production.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

- Is comfortable owning their own QA — no separate QA team here
- Can spot bugs, performance issues and technical debt before they become problems
- Enjoys making architectural decisions and thinking about how systems scale
- Writes clean, maintainable code
- Communicates clearly and can translate technical thinking for a non-technical co-founder
- Wants their work to have a visible impact
