Job Description
Networks as a Service (NAAS) is seeking a highly skilled senior level developer with network infrastructure experience to add to our development team. Your goal is to deliver products to our global network team which will assist with the transformation to an automated network and network security environment. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global organization and participate in the development of the next generation network automation architecture. Ideal candidates will have well-rounded knowledge of programming languages such as Python, full stack software engineering technologies, database, cloud technologies, and networking knowledge.
What you will be responsible for
Essential Job Functions
- Full Stack development of solutions to automate Network Technologies.
- Experience contributing to and understanding all layers of a full stack application.
- Database integration including querying, joins, and optimization.
- Develop and test modular, high quality code.
- Write automated tests and contribute to all aspects of the SDLC process.
- Deliver against requirements and acceptance criteria from a Network Infrastructure team.
- Interface with Network Engineers to understand the requirements for Network devices.
- Collaborate with the development team on a daily basis.
- Work within a Scrum framework using an agile mindset following SDLC processes.
- Ability to work with a variety of infrastructure technologies and third-party products.
- Must be able to work a 4x4 hybrid model (4 days in office, 4 weeks per year remote) consistent with State Street Policies.

Desired Experience
- Highly experienced with Python. Experience with web frameworks such as Django and programming languages a plus.
- Working knowledge of full stack application technologies such as message brokers, version control, authentication and authorization controls.
- Extensive experience in communication with other systems via restful API’s.
- Solid experience with web data formats including JSON and XML.
- Experience with automating networking technologies a plus.
- Familiarity with front-end web development using HTML, bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript and React.
- Working knowledge of software development using Agile principals and Scrum framework.
