Who we are

At GetGround, our mission is simple: to make property investment safer, faster, and more accessible for everyone. We believe AI can reshape the journey end to end - not just improving single steps, but reimagining the entire experience of property investing. The result will be a future of buy-to-let that is radically different to how we know it by disrupting a £1.7 trillion UK asset class.

Since 2018, we’ve been building an all-in-one property investment platform that supports investors from opportunity analysis and company formation through to financing, accounting and portfolio management. By bringing data, software and specialist services into one experience, we make property investing simpler, clearer and more cost-effective. Today, more than 30,000 investors across 70 countries use GetGround, with over £2bn of assets managed through the platform. We’re now entering our next phase: developing increasingly intelligent tools for individual investors, turning our platform into the operating system for institutional property investment, and taking GetGround into new international Markets.

What you’ll do

  • Take problems, not tickets. You’ll work with product, design, and other engineers to chart a path forward on ambiguous challenges. We don’t just deliver tickets, we solve problems.
  • Build across the property-investment lifecycle. Help investors decide what to buy, understand where to invest and run their portfolios. Whether you’re building AI-powered tools to model investment opportunities, developing integrations for institutional clients, or simplifying complex journeys across the platform, you’ll work across the stack, following the problem wherever it leads.
  • Release early, release often, adjust course. We optimise for getting value into our users’ hands as quickly as possible. Ship something real, learn from how it’s used, and iterate. The goal is always to deliver meaningful impact for the people relying on our platform.
  • Be deliberate about trade-offs. Every startup accumulates tech debt. The good ones do it on purpose. You’ll know when to cut a corner to hit a goal and when to invest in doing it properly and you’ll be transparent about which you’re doing.
  • Communicate like it’s part of the job, because it is. Flag blockers before they become problems. Share context without being asked. Write things down. In a team this size, information flow is everything.
  • Build AI with AI. AI is fundamental in what we build and how we work. You’ll use AI tools to multiply your output and stay focused on the creative, high-leverage work. We don’t want AI slop and nor use AI for the sake of AI but we understand how impactful it can be and want people who lean in.
  • Talk to customers. You’ll regularly interface with the people using what you build. Understanding their workflows and pain points isn’t a PM’s job. It’s everyone’s job.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you bring

  • Strong engineering fundamentals. We move fast but we don’t ship rubbish. You write clean, maintainable code and you care about getting the details right, from data modelling to error handling to deployment.
  • A product mindset. You think about what you’re building and why. You understand that engineering exists to serve the business and the user, and you’re comfortable making decisions that balance technical purity with commercial reality.
  • Entrepreneurial drive. You’ve backed ideas before and driven them forward whether that’s at a startup, a side project, or by championing something internally. You don’t wait for permission to make things better.
  • Full stack capability. Comfortable working across the stack. We use Golang on our backend, React on the frontend, Typescript extensively, and run our infra on GCP. You should be confident in picking up whatever’s needed.
  • Active communicator. You surface problems early, share context freely, and don’t disappear into a hole for days. You write clearly and you’re comfortable with async communication.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You don’t need a fully specified ticket to start making progress. You’re used to figuring things out, asking the right questions, and making reasonable bets.

Desirable experience

  • Experience building AI-native features
  • Experience with React, Remix and Typescript
  • Experience with Golang
  • Personal interest in property, fintech, and investment
  • Track record of owning complex systems end-to-end

This role isn’t for you if

  • You want to be handed technical requirements. We deal in problems and outcomes, not specifications. If you need someone to tell you exactly what to build and how, this isn’t the right fit.
  • You prefer staying in your lane. We’re a fast paced, high quality team. We attack problems together, head on. Everyone is expected to contribute across the stack, across the product, and across the business. Boundaries are blurry by design.
  • You don’t like to change the status quo. Property is a slow-moving, antiquated industry, and we’re here to change that. We want people who will question assumptions, challenge what is considered “normal” and explore how AI can create a radically better experience.
  • You don’t connect with how we work. Our values, No BS, pursuit of excellence, feedback obsessed and healthy ego, shape how we make decisions and work together. We expect people to communicate directly, hold a high bar, actively seek feedback and remain confident without becoming defensive.
