JOB DETAIL:
We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI-focused) with strong technical leadership to join our team in Sheffield. This role is hands-on and suited to someone who can lead by example, partner with stakeholders, and help shape engineering standards while delivering high-quality software at pace.
Core Requirements
- Senior full stack engineering capability with a strong front-end foundation:
- ReactJS and TypeScript
- Strong back-end engineering mindset (API design, integration, performance, security)
- AI/ML engineering skills (building and integrating AI-driven features into products; ideally with practical experience using modern model/tooling)
- DevOps capability to support build, release, and reliability (CI/CD, automation, environment management, observability)

Highly Advantageous
- Python development experience (especially for AI/data workloads and services)
- Strong data experience (data pipelines, data modelling, analytics/feature engineering, working with structured/unstructured data)

Leadership Expectations
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, and code review leadership
- Drive good engineering practices (testing, documentation, maintainability, security)
- Collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and delivery teams
Location / Working Pattern
- Sheffield-based role with minimum 3 days per week onsite (hybrid working)
