Enso Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established technology business with a global footprint, who are continuing to strengthen their Belfast engineering capability with the addition of a Senior Full Stack Engineer.
The Opportunity
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced full stack engineer who wants to work on something genuinely exciting.
You'll join a newly formed team working on a next-generation platform build, using the latest technology and architecture at genuine scale.
It's a high-ownership role with serious technical depth. This is ideal for someone who wants to grow, mentor others, and leave a real mark on a platform that matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the design, development, testing, and deployment of software across the team
- Drive engineering improvements and communicate the principles behind your work clearly to the wider team
- Lead conversations around software systems and contribute meaningfully to wider architectural discussions
- Support estimation and planning activities, challenging requirements and fostering creative solutions where needed
- Evolve systems towards target state architecture through thoughtful refactoring and delivery prioritisation
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping raise the technical bar across the team
- Contribute to a well-defined software development lifecycle that supports planning, prioritisation, and delivery

About You
- 5+ years' experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a professional, fast-paced environment
- Strong frontend skills including React, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Solid backend experience with Java
- Proficient working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets
- Strong database knowledge across both SQL and NoSQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, and AppSync
- Familiar with microservices architecture, containerisation, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines and source control using Git
- Comfortable working in Agile cross-functional delivery teams alongside BAs and Product Owners
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
