£70k to £85k basic (DOE) + 10% bonus + 10% shares + benefits
Location
London (hybrid working: with at least 1 to 2 days per month in office)
You're a backend engineer at heart. Java and Spring Boot are your core; and you're genuinely strong there. You've got frontend capability too, enough to work across the full stack without needing handholding, but you're not a 50/50 split. 70% backend, 30% frontend. That's exactly who we're looking for.

- 6 to 7+ years of Java / Spring Boot experience: senior level, non-negotiable
- Strong backend engineering: microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture
- Kafka experience: ideally production-scale, this is a real differentiator here
- Frontend capability: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular or similar. Not expert level but genuinely competent
- Domain Driven Design (DDD): practical experience, not just theory
- Microservices architecture: you've built and delivered them in complex environments
- Cloud-native: AWS ideally, Docker / Kubernetes / GitLab / MongoDB

Right to work:
- Must have the right to work in the UK freely: absolutely no visa sponsorship or relocation available.
