Senior Full Stack Engineer (JavaScript/Typescript/Shopify) – Leeds (Hybrid) - £55-75k

TDD/SOLID/Design Patterns | Serverless AWS | Flexible Schedule | 1-2dpw in office | Platinum Partner

Ada Meher is working with a leading Shopify Partner as they search for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to work across a number of their award-winning client projects. They work on end-to-end systems development, building platforms that extend the functionality of Shopify’s engine using the latest in JavaScript/Typescript Engineering and Serverless AWS Infrastructure.

They take engineering standards extremely seriously, and a successful candidate will be adept working with SOLID principles, Design Patterns and having Unit Testing as 2nd nature. They also have a very forward-thinking approach to technology and therefore also approach development processes in an AI-enabled tact and would be looking for candidates with a similar passion for keeping up to date with the latest trends in the market.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

As far as flexibility is concerned, they prefer to focus on output over time-at-desk and as such can offer a lot of autonomy in remote work and flexible hours. The majority of the team come into the Leeds office 1-2dpw which they would encourage – but there is no hard and fast rule and if the clients are happy then so are they.

To Be Considered:

  • Expert level experience in JavaScript/Typescript Engineering
  • Experience with the Shopify platform
  • Strong experience in TDD/Unit Testing
  • Strong experience with SOLID principles and Design Patterns
  • Experience working in AWS Infrastructure (Lambdas / AWS CDK preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
