I’m working with a high-growth, global technology business that is looking to hire a Technical Lead into its product engineering organisation.
You’ll lead a cross-functional engineering squad, set technical direction, mentor engineers and work closely with Product and Data to build scalable, secure, and reliable products used by customers globally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development
- Setting technical direction and making key architectural decisions
- Mentoring and developing engineers within the squad
- Working closely with Product to turn ideas into scalable solutions
- Partnering with Data to build measurable, insight-driven products
- Owning performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Helping drive platform modernisation and engineering best practice
- Improving delivery, deployment, and engineering quality
- Supporting technical interviews and the growth of the engineering team

What they’re looking for:
- Strong commercial experience with Java & Spring Framework – essential
- Senior/Lead-level software engineering experience
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers
- React and TypeScript experience would be highly desirable
- Experience working within a modern SaaS, MarTech, or data-driven environment
- Cloud-native experience across AWS or GCP, with Docker/Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of software design, testing, and CI/CD
- Comfortable influencing technical decisions across teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
