Lyst is a global fashion shopping platform founded in London in 2010 and catering to over 160M shoppers per year. We offer our customers the largest assortment of premium and luxury fashion products in one place, curating pieces from 27,000 of the world's leading brands and stores. In 2025, Lyst joined Zozo, operators of Zozotown, the leading fashion e-commerce platform in Japan. This partnership marks a bold new era for Lyst, as we accelerate our vision and work together to transform the future of fashion shopping through AI and technology.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our Shop Experience team within the Product Development tribe. You will play a key role in shaping seamless, trustworthy, and high-performing shopping experiences for millions of users around the world.
In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional product squad alongside Product, Design, Analytics, and QA to build and evolve customer-facing features across the full stack. You will contribute not only through technical execution, but also by influencing architecture, engineering practices, experimentation, and operational excellence.
The Role: Product, Engineering, & Impact
We believe the best product experiences are built by collaborative teams with strong technical foundations and a deep understanding of user needs. You will focus on:
- Full-stack Development: You will design, build, and evolve scalable web applications and backend services using React, TypeScript, and Python (Django). You’ll contribute across the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and monitoring in production.
- Product Collaboration: You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and fellow engineers to shape solutions that balance user experience, technical quality, and business impact. We are highly data-driven and rely heavily on experimentation to validate ideas and guide decisions.
- Technical Excellence: You will help maintain a high bar for code quality, testing, observability, and system reliability. You’ll contribute to architectural discussions, improve developer experience, and proactively address technical debt where needed.
- Team Contribution: You will mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving. We value curiosity, humility, and continuous improvement across both product and engineering practices.
Within your first 3 months, you will:
- Delivery: Contribute to production systems across frontend and backend services, including tests, documentation, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
- Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across Product, Design, QA, Analytics, and Engineering teams while actively participating in team ceremonies and technical discussions.
- Technical Impact: Improve the stability, observability, and maintainability of our systems through better monitoring, resilient code, and thoughtful testing practices.
- Growth & Ownership: Gain confidence working across our platform and infrastructure while contributing ideas to improve engineering standards, tooling, and team processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
