HomeServe Finance is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer
London (Hybrid) | Up to £95,000 + 20% bonus + £7,000 car allowance + 6% matched pension
HomeServe Finance is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help us build the technology behind the future of home efficiency. We help homeowners access innovative finance solutions that make energy-efficient home improvements simpler, faster and more accessible.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology team where you’ll work across the full stack, influence technical direction and help shape products that have a real-world impact for customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building customer-facing journeys and internal tools that make lending simpler, faster and more accessible.
- Taking ownership of solutions from initial design and development through to deployment, iteration and continuous improvement.
- Developing products that support the full lending lifecycle, from application and credit decisioning through to servicing and collections.
- Working closely with Product, Design and Engineering colleagues to turn ideas into high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Helping shape engineering standards, architecture and AI-enabled development practices as the platform evolves.
- Mentoring others, sharing knowledge and helping raise the technical bar across the team.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong full-stack engineering experience, particularly with React, TypeScript, Python and Django.
- Confidence building and consuming REST APIs, with a focus on clean, reliable and scalable solutions.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL and AWS.
- A product-focused mindset, with the ability to solve problems in a way that works for customers and the business.
- Experience in using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar, to improve quality, speed and delivery.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where ideas, ownership and continuous improvement matter.
