Senior Full Stack Engineer | Central London, 3 Days a Week Onsite | Rolling Contract with Conversion Possibility

Overview

A leading financial data and analytics organisation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Operational Tooling team, responsible for building and enhancing the strategic platform used to create, manage, monitor, and govern financial indices across the ecosystem.

This role is heavily focused on delivering modern, data-driven user interfaces and scalable backend services that support operational workflows, approvals, auditing, exception management, dashboarding, and integrations across multiple services. The position is approximately 60% front-end and 40% back-end, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys building intuitive user experiences whilst remaining hands-on with Java backend development.

React is the strategic front-end technology moving forward, whilst Angular remains an important part of the existing ecosystem and will continue to be supported and modernised. On the backend, you will build and maintain Java Spring Boot services, APIs, integrations, and cloud-hosted applications within AWS.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
