Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET/React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET/React) based in United Kingdom.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build and evolve scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across both backend and frontend layers. You will work extensively with.NET and C# alongside React, Redux, and JavaScript to deliver impactful software solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering with opportunities to influence architecture, technical decisions, and development practices. You will contribute to cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform and modern CI/CD practices. Working closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, you will translate business needs into robust technical solutions. You will also support code quality and team development through mentoring, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, reliable, and efficient full-stack applications.
  • Build and maintain backend services using.NET, C#, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Develop responsive and maintainable frontend components using React, Redux, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
  • Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code while following established engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback, and promote high standards of code quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to identify and resolve performance or reliability issues.
  • Contribute to software architecture discussions, technical design decisions, and long-term engineering strategy.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
  • Apply cloud technologies and DevOps practices to improve development and delivery workflows.
  • Mentor junior engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and identify opportunities for technical improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in.NET and C#.
  • Solid hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Strong frontend development skills with React, Redux, and JavaScript.
  • Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based application development.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and scalable application design.
  • Experience using GitHub for version control, collaboration, and software development workflows.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and continuously evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
