Senior Full Stack Engineer (React / TypeScript) - Contract
Start date: early September
A short, high-ownership contract for a senior engineer who wants to build across the stack and own their part of it.
The role
You'll build across the stack in TypeScript with React on the front, owning a self-contained area of the build end to end. You'll make the technical calls on your area, work at pace alongside the wider team, and keep everyone in the loop as things move.
What's in it for you
- Full ownership of your own area, not tickets on someone else's design
- A modern React and TypeScript stack, front to back
- A focused engagement with a clear delivery date
- Remote-first, with office space available when it helps

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Essential experience
You'll need all of these to hit the ground running:
- Strong commercial TypeScript, front and back
- Deep React experience on the front end
- Back-end Node (Express or NestJS)
- Designing and building scalable APIs and cloud-native applications
- Owning an isolated area of a build while staying joined up with a fast-moving team
- Strong, proactive communication
The details
- Contract length: 3-6 months
- Outside IR35
- Remote-first. We just ask that you're within 50 miles of one of our UK offices (Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester or London), or within 50 miles of Bucharest, Iasi or Cluj.
- Senior level. We'd consider a principal or lead at a higher rate for the right fit
