Senior Full Stack .NET Developer - London (Hybrid) - 6-12 months
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a major technology modernisation initiative, helping to design, build and modernise business-critical applications across both front-end and back-end environments. The role requires strong experience across the Microsoft/.NET ecosystem, modern Angular development and AWS, with responsibility for developing front-end applications and RESTful APIs through to deployment and containerization. We are particularly interested in developers who have adopted AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot within their day-to-day engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain modern applications using.NET Core /.NET 10+ and C#
- Develop modern front-end applications using Angular 20+ and TypeScript
- Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services
- Develop and integrate solutions within AWS cloud environments
- Contribute to the modernisation of existing applications, services and development practices
- Work across the full software development lifecycle from design through to deployment
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and/or Azure DevOps
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and YAML-based configuration to support automated deployments
- Containerise and orchestrate applications using Docker
- Apply modern engineering principles around testing, code quality, security and maintainability
- Utilise GitHub Copilot or similar AI development tools to improve development productivity and software delivery
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and wider technology teams throughout the modernisation programme

Essential Experience
- Strong commercial development experience with C# and.NET Core / modern.NET
- Experience with.NET 10+ or recent versions of the.NET platform
- Strong Angular experience, ideally Angular 20+
- Strong TypeScript experience
- Experience developing both front-end user interfaces and backend services
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Commercial experience working with AWS
- Node.js experience
- CI/CD experience using GitHub and/or Azure DevOps
- Experience working with YAML and Infrastructure as Code
- Docker containerisation experience
- Previous experience working on application modernisation or transformation programmes
