About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in both modern web technologies and backend technologies, a talent for business processes, and a keen interest in finance. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, collaborative, and delivery-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to pick things up quickly in a fast-paced environment. They will bring both a user-centred mindset and the technical depth required to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.

You will be part of a friendly and collaborative team responsible for post-trade and reporting software development. The role involves working closely with operations, fund accounting, and other teams across the business including senior management - there is no BA layer, you will gather requirements directly from the business, design solutions, and own them end-to-end. In addition to project work, you will have regular opportunities to implement enhancements for both business and technology.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Own and evolve core post-trade systems covering confirmations, trade support, treasury, corporate actions, reconciliations, limit monitoring, and fund accounting
  • Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data integrations
  • Build and maintain internal UIs where performance, data quality, and usability all matter
  • Work across the full application lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, release, and support
  • Engage directly with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into thoughtful technical solutions
  • Support production systems, investigate issues, and implement fixes where required
  • Collaborate through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in financial services or data-intensive systems
  • Strong backend capability in C#/.NET - you are comfortable designing services, APIs, and data integrations, not just consuming them
  • Competent with a modern frontend framework - you can build UIs that non-technical users actually want to use
  • Comfortable using agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code and are genuinely keen to use them as a natural part of daily work
  • Interest in financial markets across all asset types
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and comfortable working closely with business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues and a positive, can-do attitude
