About the Role
We're working with a premium Shopify agency that specialises in the projects most agencies wouldn't.
We're looking for a Lead/Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who wants to solve genuinely complex engineering problems, rather than simply build another Shopify store.
You'll work on projects involving complex integrations, custom systems and highly personalised customer journeys, helping architect solutions that push Shopify well beyond its standard capabilities.
This is an engineering role in the truest sense.
You'll be involved in:
- Architecting and building scalable, maintainable solutions
- Turning complex requirements into clear technical approaches
- Making key technical and architectural decisions
- Helping shape engineering standards and development processes
- Working closely with PM, Design and Data teams
- Using AI effectively within your development workflow and helping identify where emerging technologies can improve how we build and deliver

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
