SAP S/4HANA Senior Functional Consultant – Indirect Tax - £700 pd Outside IR35
We’re looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Senior Functional Consultant within Indirect Tax to join a major global transformation programme within the pharmaceutical sector.
This is a senior functional role where you’ll play a key part in defining the global S/4HANA design for Tax, working across business process, SAP solution and data design to deliver a fit-to-standard global template.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of indirect tax processes within a global environment, including tax touchpoints across the end-to-end supply chain
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and EDICOM
- Strong SAP expertise, with experience acting as an SME on complex, large-scale business transformation programmes
- Experience delivering S/4HANA implementations for complex global organisations, ideally from design through to deployment
- Good understanding of digital compliance requirements including e-invoicing and e-reporting
- Knowledge of indirect tax requirements including VAT/GST, domestic transactions, free trade zones, exports and imports
- Understanding of SAP data elements and data points used to determine the correct tax treatment through external tax engines

This would suit an experienced SAP Tax / Indirect Tax Functional Consultant who is comfortable operating at design and SME level within a large-scale global S/4HANA programme.
