Senior Low Code Functional Consultant | Power Platform
£70,000 + £4,000 bonus | Hybrid | London, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow
I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Low Code Functional Consultant to join a leading global business and technology transformation consultancy, working with major organisations across the UK.
The organisation works across government, financial services, insurance, energy and retail, helping clients solve complex business challenges through technology, digital transformation and innovative solutions.
This is a senior, client-facing consulting role focused on Microsoft Power Platform and low-code/no-code solutions. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, shape solutions and provide functional leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
The role
You’ll take a lead role in helping clients understand how low-code technology can improve their processes, automate activities and deliver better business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading client engagements focused on Power Platform and low-code transformation
- Working with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges, processes and strategic objectives
- Leading workshops, discovery sessions and requirements gathering with users, business stakeholders and decision-makers
- Designing and shaping functional solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse
- Translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable and sustainable low-code solutions
- Advising clients on their Power Platform adoption strategy and identifying opportunities for wider use of low-code technology
- Providing functional leadership across projects, working closely with developers, architects and delivery teams
- Supporting Agile planning and delivery, including managing risks, dependencies, priorities and delivery outcomes
- Presenting solution designs, recommendations and business value to senior business and technology leaders
- Supporting solution architecture and ensuring proposed solutions are both technically feasible and aligned with business needs
- Contributing to business development, proposals, bids and solution shaping
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for further engagement
- Supporting the development of junior consultants and contributing to the wider Power Platform capability
- Keeping up to date with developments across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot, Azure and Generative AI

What we're looking for
You must have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in consulting, business analysis, technology advisory, functional consulting or a similar client-facing environment.
We're particularly interested in people who can combine strong Power Platform knowledge with consulting and functional leadership experience.
You'll ideally have:
- 5+ years' professional experience in a relevant consulting, technology or business advisory role
- Strong functional expertise across Microsoft Power Platform and low-code/no-code technologies
- Good experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and/or Dataverse
- Experience designing and shaping solutions based on complex business requirements
- Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can improve or automate them
- Proven experience leading client workshops and working with senior stakeholders
- Strong consulting, communication and presentation skills
- Experience working across Agile delivery environments
- The ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery
- Experience providing guidance or mentoring to less experienced consultants
- Exposure to Dynamics 365, Azure, Copilot or Generative AI would be beneficial
- Microsoft or Power Platform certifications would be advantageous
- SC cleared or SC eligible candidates are particularly encouraged to apply

Location & travel
Office locations are available in:
- London
- Bristol
- Manchester
- Newcastle
- Glasgow
You can select the office location closest to you.
As this is a client-facing consulting role, you will need to be comfortable travelling when a project requires it. This will typically be around 1–2 times per month, depending on the client and project.
Some assignments may require additional travel or time working from a client site, so flexibility is important.
