Job Description

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will play an important part in delivering exceptional service to our clients while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team.

  • Take ownership of cash and position reconciliations, investor allocations, and expense schedules, including management fee and carried interest/performance fee calculations, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Deliver NAVs and other client reporting in line with agreed deadlines, taking pride in maintaining the highest standards of service and accuracy for your clients.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and play an active role in the successful completion of the annual audit process.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key day-to-day contact and ensuring queries, requests, and deliverables are managed professionally and efficiently.
  • Develop a strong understanding of offshore and onshore fund structures, particularly closed-ended funds, enabling you to provide informed support and add value to your clients.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the business, communicating openly and proactively to ensure risks, issues, and opportunities are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Contribute to the success of the wider team by sharing knowledge, supporting the development of junior colleagues, and providing cover across client portfolios when required.
  • Take ownership of your professional growth and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and contribute to projects and initiatives that support the ongoing success of Ocorian.

Qualifications

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of loan/debt instruments, fund structures, and waterfall calculations
  • Experience with eFront preferred; knowledge of Geneva or Investran would be advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive individual who takes ownership, shows initiative, and works independently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • 3-5 years' experience in Fund Accounting, with exposure to Alternative Investments, Private Equity, and/or Private Debt funds
