Global Asset Manager | London (hybrid, 3 days in office) | Permanent

Most fund accounting roles are about following the process. This one is about being the person who works out what the process should be. Our client, a global active asset manager, is hiring a senior specialist into a small fund accounting team that acts as the firm's subject matter expert on valuation and NAV. When a fund launches, merges, restructures or closes, one person from this team leads for fund accounting. That event is yours: you identify the risks, decide what needs to be considered and bring the solutions.

What you'll do

  • Lead fund accounting input on the product change pipeline across UK OEICs, Luxembourg SICAVs, Irish UCITS, investment trusts and hedge funds: launches, closures, mergers, restructures, in-specie transfers and large client transitions
  • Act as the swing pricing expert for the business, applying the policy and analysing its effectiveness
  • Coordinate the large redemptions working group across front office, compliance and middle office, ensuring fair treatment of redeeming and remaining investors
  • Test and implement performance fee models, and resolve complex NAV issues
  • Assess the impact of regulatory change with Product, Compliance and the third-party administrators

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll bring

  • Strong daily dealing funds experience (essential)
  • Real technical depth in NAV production: swing pricing, fair value pricing, performance fees and valuation points
  • Hands-on product change experience as the expert in the room, not the coordinator
  • The confidence to hold your position with senior stakeholders, and the technical substance to explain why
  • A habit of arriving with proposals, not just problems
  • Hedge fund exposure, an accountancy background or an industry qualification (IAQ, IMC, CFA) would all be an advantage.
