Equifind are supporting a global household name in private equity to hire a Senior Fund Controller, as they build out their growing CLO business.
This is a role about building, not running what already exists. You'll define how the finance function evolves as the product scales, from early ramp-up right through to a mature, fully operational issuance programme, with real ownership over the shape it takes rather than inheriting someone else's setup.
You'd sit as the financial owner of the manager entity, controlling the debt issuers, waterfalls, NAV and collateral reporting oversight, fee income and returns on retained notes, and building the reporting and control framework as the platform grows.
It's backed by a group with serious capital and a strong track record, but you'd be working in a newer part of the business, one where you'll have real influence over how the fund is run and space to put your own stamp on it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
