About The Role

Working closely with the Fundraising Compliance Lead, you’ll ensure that Parkinson's UK’s Fundraising and marketing meet required industry standards, rules and regulations that are relevant to specific activities and business practices.

Using your expertise, you will work closely with income generating and supporter experience teams to ensure action is taken to optimise and maximise existing opportunities and to capitalise as regulations and technology develop. You will work alongside governance and operations colleagues to empower teams through monitoring, reporting, improving business processes and managing risk.

What You'll Do

  • Be a first point of contact for colleagues requiring support triaging and answering day-to-day compliance queries; supporting the Fundraising Compliance Lead and Gift Aid Manager as required to deliver BAU and key projects.
  • As a subject matter expert you will work with stakeholders to review fundraising activity, direct marketing materials and supporter journeys to ensure they meet internal policies, legal bases and the relevant rules and standards for communications.
  • Liaise with and maintain relationships with regulatory and industry bodies to seek advice and resolve any matters arising alongside the Compliance Lead.
  • Assist colleagues in the prevention of and in reporting breaches or incidents in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and support opportunities to improve, optimise and maximise ways of working, business processes and monitoring to increase both compliance assurance and income generation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
