Description
Do you love working with people and building meaningful relationships? Are you an excellent communicator who thrives in a busy and varied role and takes pride in delivering exceptional supporter stewardship? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to build and manage relationships with a portfolio of mid and high-value community supporters, primarily DIY (in aid of) fundraisers who organise their own fundraising events and activities, alongside other community fundraising audiences including Clubs & Groups, In Memory supporters and some patient families, including bereaved families. You'll inspire supporters to maximise their fundraising while ensuring they feel valued, recognised and supported throughout their journey.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with other Senior Executives in the Community Fundraising team, colleagues from across the charity and the Senior Manager to deliver exceptional stewardship, develop new supporter experiences and collaborate on projects that help some of our most committed fundraisers have the biggest possible impact for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract role until September 2027
Salary
The salary for this position is £38,371 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of mid and high-value community supporters, primarily DIY fundraisers, alongside other community fundraising audiences including Clubs & Groups, In Memory supporters and some patient families, including bereaved families, building trusted relationships that maximise fundraising and encourage long-term support.
- Deliver personalised stewardship through regular contact, fundraising advice, recognition opportunities and tailored supporter experiences, ensuring every supporter feels valued and supported.
- Identify opportunities to re-engage existing supporters and welcome new high-potential fundraisers into your portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising and supporter services to deliver exceptional supporter experiences and identify opportunities for supporters to deepen their involvement with GOSH Charity.
- Support the development and delivery of new stewardship initiatives that help grow community fundraising and enhance the supporter journey.
- Maintain accurate supporter records and contribute to income forecasting and reporting.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities simultaneously.
- Confident communicator who can tailor their approach to different supporters and identify opportunities to maximise fundraising and engagement.
- Experience using CRM systems and is comfortable maintaining accurate records and using data to inform relationship management.
- DBS - note a Basic DBS check is required for this role.
