About the Role

I’m excited to be hiring a new role for a mental health charity, joining their Digital and Experiential team, driving fundraising through a number of products as part of a wider Mass Engagement Fundraising team, as their new Senior Social Challenges Officer.

This role leads on Social Challenges with responsibility for developing a diverse and successful portfolio, recruiting thousands of fundraisers and supporting them to exceed their fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth, delivery, and optimisation of the charity’s Social Challenges, Weddings, and Birthdays fundraising portfolio.
  • Work closely with the Digital and Experiential Manager to strengthen existing products and identify future opportunities through data insight and sector trend analysis.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project management of digital fundraising activities, from setting targets and KPIs to briefing suppliers, monitoring delivery, and evaluating performance.
  • Provide hands-on leadership of two Fundraising Officers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
