Senior Manager / Director, Tax Structuring
Global Hedge Fund | London
We are partnering with a globally recognised hedge fund to appoint a Senior Manager or Director into its Tax Structuring team. This is a highly commercial and advisory-led role, sitting at the intersection of tax, investments and business strategy.
The position will focus on providing structuring advice across the firm's investment platforms, funds, products and trading strategies. Working closely with investment professionals, legal teams and senior leadership, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of efficient investment and fund structures across multiple jurisdictions.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys complex structuring work and wants to operate as a strategic adviser within a world-class investment organisation.
You will work as part of a highly regarded team that partners directly with front-office stakeholders, helping shape commercially viable and tax-efficient structures that support the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on the tax structuring of investment funds, co-investment vehicles and managed account platforms.
- Provide strategic tax advice on new fund launches, product development initiatives and business expansion projects.
- Partner with investment, legal and finance teams to design and implement efficient investment structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assess tax implications of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and strategic transactions.
- Advise on the tax aspects of complex trading and investment strategies across a broad range of asset classes.
- Monitor global tax developments and evaluate their impact on existing and proposed fund structures.
- Manage relationships with external advisers and coordinate advice across key jurisdictions.
- Support senior management in shaping the firm's long-term structuring strategy and approach to tax risk management.
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Candidate Profile
- ACA, CTA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Significant experience within a leading advisory firm, investment manager, private markets platform, hedge fund or broader financial services organisation.
- Strong experience advising on fund structuring, investment structuring and cross-border transactions.
- Knowledge of alternative investments, private markets, credit, hedge funds or asset management structures.
- The ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and pragmatically to senior business stakeholders.
- A commercial approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
