Senior Furniture & Production Manager

Francis Sultana UK, a division of David Gill Gallery, is seeking an experienced Senior Furniture & Production Manager to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will become part of a highly regarded and innovative studio creating one-of-a-kind furniture, collectible design, bespoke collections, lighting, and prestigious residential and hospitality interiors worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead furniture projects from concept through manufacture, delivery, and installation.
  • Coordinate production schedules, quotations, purchase orders, budgets, and project costs.
  • Manage suppliers, manufacturers, artisans, and contractors.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical, production, and programme challenges.
  • Develop and technically resolve designs while maintaining design intent.
  • Produce CAD models, technical drawings, specifications, renders, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Review production through workshop, supplier, warehouse, and site visits.
  • Prepare installation and care documentation.

Experience & Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of furniture construction, manufacturing processes, materials, and specialist finishes.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and budget management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Rhino 3D, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in furniture design and production within luxury residential, hospitality, collectible design, or high-end furniture environments.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical understanding of bronze, brass, steel, wood, stone, resin, upholstery, and decorative finishes.
  • Excellent technical drawing, detailing, and 3D modelling skills.
  • Proven experience in quality control and production problem-solving.
  • Ability to travel internationally when required.
