We're looking for a strategic and creative Senior Game Designer to join the Player Value team in Candy Crush Saga. In this role, you'll shape some of the most important moments in a player's experience, from their first session through their long-term journey, creating experiences that maximize player value, engagement and delight. You'll have the opportunity to influence the game at a holistic level, working across multiple initiatives and collaborating with teams throughout Candy Crush Saga.
Your role within the Kingdom
As a Senior Game Designer in the Player Value team, you'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment alongside Product Managers, UX Designers, Data Scientists, Engineers and other Game Designers to identify and redesign the moments that matter most to players.
You'll think beyond individual features, taking a holistic view of the player journey to create cohesive experiences that improve onboarding, progression, motivation, retention and long-term engagement. From reimagining the first-time user experience to evolving key player journeys, you'll connect insights across the game and drive design strategies that elevate the overall player experience.

- Champion systems thinking, ensuring new experiences complement the broader Candy Crush ecosystem and reinforce long-term player value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
