Senior Game Mathematician

Push Gaming is a dynamic and innovative iGaming development studio that specialises in creating top-quality, mobile-optimised online casino games. With a passion for gaming and a commitment to pushing boundaries, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to players worldwide.

As a Senior Game Mathematician, you will be responsible for creating mathematical models for casino games and analysing them from a math balancing/design point of view. You will be working closely with Product Owners, Game Developers as well as the Commercial Team to ensure the delivery of innovative and high-quality games that wow the market.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
Location: Hybrid in London or Warsaw.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end mathematical design process for high-complexity titles, ensuring models deliver optimal player experience (volatility, hit frequency, RTP) and meet commercial goals.
  • Drive the conceptualisation and development of novel and unique slot mechanics, collaborating closely with Product Owners and Game Designers to translate creative concepts into mathematically sound and balanced frameworks.
  • Develop, maintain, and utilise sophisticated Monte Carlo simulation tools to rigorously test, validate, and optimise game models before production.
  • Create comprehensive, auditable mathematical documentation and technical specifications for all game models, ensuring they meet rigorous internal standards and external regulatory requirements for all target markets.
  • Manage a small team of more junior mathematicians, guiding them on their games and turning them into excellent Mathematicians in their own right.
  • Partner with Developers, QA, Artists, and Product Owners to ensure flawless integration of the mathematical model into the final game, offering technical guidance and problem-solving support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct deep quantitative analysis of competitor games and market trends to identify opportunities for new mathematical features and to ensure our portfolio remains competitive and cutting-edge.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
