Menswear Garment Technologist

Location: Bradford Area

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) + Benefits + Hybrid

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established company with one of their brands for an experienced Garment Technologist to join their technical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a product-focused technologist who enjoys owning categories from development through to production, working closely with suppliers to deliver excellent fit, quality, and consistency. Working with this iconic name, your key responsibilities would be:

  • Manage garment fit from prototype through to production approval.
  • Lead fit sessions and provide clear technical comments to suppliers.
  • Create and maintain graded specifications and technical packs.
  • Monitor garment quality, construction, and finishing standards.
  • Review testing reports, care labels, and product compliance.
  • Manage AQL approvals and support production quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with offshore factories and suppliers.
  • Ensure critical path deadlines are achieved.

Must Haves to be Shortlisted

  • Previous and recent experience as a Garment Technologist within menswear product.
  • Strong understanding of fit, grading, construction, and quality standards.
  • Confident communicating with overseas suppliers and factories.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple product areas and deadlines effectively.
  • Commutable to Bradford and eligible to work in the UK
