Overview
Want to spend the next contract actually building cloud infrastructure, rather than sitting in architecture meetings?
This is a very hands-on GCP engineering role, building the cloud infrastructure behind a high-volume data platform designed to support millions to billions of endpoints and huge volumes of real-time data.
Contract Details
- Duration: 3 - 6 months initially
- Location: 100% Fully remote
- Start Date: Immediate start date - need a starter this Monday (24th August)
- Timezone: UK timezone

- High-volume data environments working with millions to billions of endpoints

- Infrastructure supporting large-scale ingestion, storage, and data pipelines
- Automation / Infrastructure as Code
Role Description
They need a true hands-on engineer rather than an architect. Someone who is still close to the technology, comfortable getting into the code, and can start delivering quickly.

Additional Information
The platform sits within a business building AI technology used across demanding environments, including Defence and National Security.
Security Clearance: Because of the nature of the work, current SC Clearance or previous SC Clearance would be a strong advantage. You’ll need to be eligible to obtain SC Clearance - this is a non-negotiable.
