Lead/Senior GCP Data Engineer (3 Positions)

We are the chosen supplier for a global FTSE 100 Insurance Company. Are you keen to enter the insurance/finance space or continue having an impact within it? This could be for you.

About the Role:

We are seeking Data Engineers to build the core ingestion capabilities for a brand-new enterprise Unified Data Platform (UDP). You will bring in data sources from disparate business units to make them easily discoverable for analytics, data science, and AI.

We are searching for Senior & Lead Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Onboard complex data from various operational business units and source systems.
  • Implement metadata-driven and reusable engineering practices.
  • Support the creation and delivery of high-value data products.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong core data engineering and ETL/ELT experience.
  • Experience building ingestion frameworks and reusable pipelines.
  • Solid GCP engineering background.

The role requires the successful candidate to work onsite 1 day a week either in London or York, remote the rest of the time.
