Job Summary
As Senior Geospatial Solutions and Engagement Manager, you will play a leading role in helping Homes England unlock the value of geospatial data, analysis and technology. Acting as a primary link between the Geospatial team and colleagues across the agency, you'll build strong relationships, understand business challenges and identify opportunities where geospatial intelligence can improve decision-making and support delivery outcomes.
Job Description
This is an outward-facing role that combines stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and geospatial expertise. You'll work closely with teams across Homes England to understand their priorities, shape innovative solutions and ensure geospatial capabilities are embedded into the way we work. You'll also lead engagement with key internal teams and delivery partners, ensuring effective collaboration across the systems, services and capabilities that underpin Homes England's geospatial function.
Alongside this, you'll act as product owner for a range of geospatial products and services, ensuring they remain focused on user needs and continue to deliver value. Working with technical specialists, you'll help shape and prioritise improvements, champion innovation and support the continued growth of geospatial capability across the organisation.
Person specification
You'll be a strong relationship-builder who enjoys working with people, understanding challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement. Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, you'll be able to translate business needs into practical solutions and demonstrate how geospatial intelligence can help teams achieve their objectives.
You'll have a good understanding of geospatial technologies and the value they can bring to organisations, along with the ability to work effectively with technical specialists to deliver successful outcomes. Equally importantly, you'll be curious and, looking beyond immediate requirements to identify opportunities where geospatial capabilities can create wider organisational benefit.
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving and influencing skills, capable of bringing together technical and non-technical audiences around a common goal. Experience leading people, developing others and fostering a collaborative team culture will also be key to success in the role.
We're looking for someone who can act as an ambassador for geospatial across Homes England, championing its use, building strong partnerships and helping ensure geospatial insight continues to play an increasingly important role in delivering our mission.
