About the Opportunity
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive looking to step up or an established Senior Marketing Executive looking for a role with autonomy and influence.
My client is a leading global strategy consultancy seeking a Senior Global Marketing Executive to support its B2B and TMT sectors. Operating internationally and advising senior leadership teams across a range of industries, the firm continues to invest in its market profile, thought leadership and growth agenda.
Role Description
Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, this is an opportunity to join a highly visible marketing team where you'll work directly with Partners, Sector Heads and senior stakeholders across the business. With responsibility for marketing activity across 2 strategically important sectors, you'll have the scope to influence decisions, shape campaigns and play a meaningful role in how the firm positions itself in the market.
The role offers a rare combination of breadth and exposure. You'll be involved across thought leadership, content marketing, integrated campaigns, events, digital marketing and profile-raising activity, whilst acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders who are genuinely invested in using marketing to support business growth. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team where ideas are welcomed, visibility is high and individuals are trusted to take ownership.
The marketing function is evolving its approach, with a focus on delivering high impact campaigns and generating greater value from the firm's research, intellectual property and sector expertise. This creates an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys looking beyond delivery, bringing ideas to the table and helping stakeholders think differently about how marketing can support commercial objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
