About the Role

Location: This role can be based in the UK, Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Sweden.

As Senior Global Partner Channel Director, you will lead and shape Aptean's global partner and channel strategy, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer success through a world-class partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and scaling strategic relationships with technology partners, systems integrators, resellers, and implementation partners across multiple regions and industries.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Services, and regional leadership teams to create and execute a unified global partner strategy. You'll have the opportunity to influence business growth at a global scale while building a high-performing channel organization that delivers measurable commercial impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Aptean's global partner and channel strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Develop and manage a partner ecosystem that includes strategic technology partners, resellers, systems integrators, implementation partners, and industry alliances.
  • Build executive-level relationships with key partners and establish joint business plans, governance models, and measurable success metrics.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners that expand market reach, industry expertise, and revenue opportunities.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline growth through co-selling initiatives, account mapping, demand generation programs, and joint go-to-market activities.
  • Create scalable partner enablement programs covering sales readiness, solution training, implementation alignment, and customer success.
  • Establish and monitor partner performance metrics, forecasting processes, incentive structures, and business reviews.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to align channel coverage, optimize opportunity management, and maximize customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Product and Solution Consulting teams to incorporate partner and customer feedback into future product and solution strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a global partner management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent Aptean at executive partner meetings, industry events, and strategic customer engagements.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership on partner performance, pipeline, investments, opportunities, and risks.

About You

  • Significant experience in global channel leadership, partner sales, strategic alliances, or business development within enterprise software or related technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, transportation management, or related software solutions.
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling successful partner ecosystems that deliver measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect sales models, partner recruitment, enablement, co-selling, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance governance.
  • Experience working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem or a comparable enterprise software ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders across international and matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution and results delivery.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment and navigating complex organizational structures.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is an advantage.
