Senior Global Supply Chain Manager – EMEA

About the Role The Senior Global Supply Chain Manager – EMEA is responsible for developing and executing end-to-end supply chain strategies that optimise cost, service, risk, and sustainability across CoreWeave’s international operations. This hands-on role spans:

  • Procurement support
  • Logistics coordination
  • Inventory management
  • Supplier performance management across a rapidly growing international portfolio.

Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers with deep operational expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to navigate country-specific regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance across diverse international markets.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the design and execution of supply chain strategies to meet business objectives and customer requirements across EMEA.
  • Support global procurement and sourcing operations, ensuring cost-effective and reliable material supply across regions.
  • Establish and manage KPIs to measure supply chain performance, risk, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies, including:
    • Supply chain diversification
    • Dual sourcing
    • Business continuity planning

Logistics & International Movements

  • Partner with the logistics team to ensure smooth international shipments, leveraging knowledge of:
    • Country-specific customs rules
    • VAT regimes
    • Import requirements
    • Incoterms
  • Ensure correct incoterms are applied to protect CoreWeave from unnecessary VAT and import duty exposure.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipment movements, collaborating with Data Centre teams to align delivery scheduling and account for site-specific challenges.

Inventory & Supplier Management

  • Oversee inventory management across EMEA, including:
    • Safety stock
    • Surplus materials
    • Site transfers
  • Manage and support relationships with suppliers and logistics providers, driving:
    • Performance
    • Accountability
    • Continuous improvement
  • Track material availability against build timelines, proactively identifying and escalating risks to senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the regional supply chain point of contact for:
    • Engineering
    • IT
    • Facilities
    • Finance
    • Legal
    • Global operations
  • Partner with VAT and finance teams to establish proper:
    • New international location setups
    • Entity structures
    • Tax positions before goods move
  • Engage with the Capacity team to anticipate changes in:
    • Product mix
    • Deployment models
  • Coordinate with DC Operations to align delivery timing with site readiness.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives in:
    • Logistics optimisation
    • Supply continuity
    • Sustainability
    • Digital transformation

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify process gaps and drive improvements in:
    • Documentation standards
    • Ownership matrices
    • Escalation SLAs
  • Support evaluation of tools for:
    • Shipment visibility
    • Supply chain analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain management, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Procurement
    • Logistics
    • Demand planning
    • Supply chain analytics
  • Experience in multi-regional operations with:
    • Global suppliers
    • Logistics providers
  • Deep understanding of:
    • International trade compliance
    • Customs clearance
    • Incoterms
    • VAT/duty implications
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain planning tools.
  • Excellent:
    • Negotiation skills
    • Communication
    • Stakeholder management
  • APICS, ISM, CIPS, or Six Sigma certifications considered a plus.
