Construction - Business Developer - UK and Ireland
The successful candidate will join a dynamic environment as part of a company specialising in the design, engineering and installation of mixed steel-concrete structural systems and hybrid construction systems.
The role will sit within the Commercial Department, reporting directly to the Head of Sales.
We are looking for a Business Developer for the UK and Ireland region to support the sales management team in developing and managing commercial relationships across the assigned territory, ensuring a smooth flow of communication between the internal organisation and local stakeholders in order to generate commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse markets within the assigned territory, both qualitatively and quantitatively, to identify potential stakeholders of interest.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers involved in the sale of the company's systems (construction firms, engineering/architecture practices, investors).
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Promote and support technical and commercial proposals through the client presentation and negotiation stages.
- Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, quoting, technical office, production, R&D, etc.) to ensure effective and timely responses to client requests.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets and company reporting.

Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in the construction industry (ideally with component-based or structural steelwork solutions).
- Fluent knowledge and use of English/Italian (German or French will be considered a plus).
- Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of component-based construction systems and client needs.
- Proactive attitude and strong negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce will be considered a plus).
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory and flexibility regarding working hours.
- Must be based permanently in the UK (London or surrounding areas).

Salary and Other Details
- The starting gross annual salary for this position is 60K euro. The company reserves the right to consider a higher level and salary at interview, depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
- This advertisement is open to candidates of all genders, in accordance with Italian laws 903/77 and 125/91, and to people of all ages and nationalities, in accordance with Italian legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
