Hey 👋
We need someone who's really, reeeeeeally good with Grafana.
I'm working with a client looking for a Senior Grafana Engineer to help design, build and develop their observability capability across a complex cloud environment.
And when I say Grafana, I don't mean you've built a few dashboards and know your way around the UI.
They're looking for someone who's worked with Grafana at scale and understands the wider observability ecosystem around it…monitoring, metrics, logging, tracing and alerting.
You'll be getting properly hands on with the platform, helping shape how it's architected and configured, automating as much as humanly possible and ultimately making it easier for engineering teams to understand what's happening across their environments.

What we're hoping to see
- Hands on experience with Grafana, ideally including Grafana Cloud and technologies such as Loki, Mimir, Tempo and Alloy.
- You'll ideally come from an SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering or Observability background and be comfortable with cloud native environments, Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS and/or Azure would all be useful, alongside a strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, dashboards, metrics, logs and traces.
- Most importantly, we need someone who understands observability as a discipline rather than simply knowing how to configure a monitoring tool.

This is an initial 6 month contract, paying £700 per day outside IR35 and can be delivered remotely from within the UK.
