WHO WE ARE
White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling women’s and men’s clothing as well as beautiful accessories and homeware. Our original prints (all designed in house), intricate details and considered design touches reflect our personality and make us subtly distinctive.
Our people are at the heart of our brand, constantly moving and driving us forward. We’re sociable, talented and like-minded and we’re not hierarchical or political in how we do business. We encourage entrepreneurial ideas and accountability at all levels.
WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced graphic designer who has an extensive understanding of the fashion retail industry. In addition to relevant print experience, you have demonstrated skills in designing in three dimensions for physical spaces, such as retail spaces, shop windows and events. You can adapt your design style to suit the brand, staying true to the brand guidelines and brand identity while bringing forward new ideas and concepts. You will have a stand-out portfolio that showcases your design skills.
You are a natural communicator, capable of managing a small team of designers, ensuring design works are delivered consistently at a high standard. You are confident and responsible, can be entrusted with projects to manage on your own, and can effectively communicate with the different stakeholders involved. You are social savvy, have a keen eye for details and are up to date with visual and design trends.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
