itsu [grocery], where this role sits, extends the much-loved itsu brand beyond our shops and into supermarkets, health food retailers, online channels, wholesale partners, and international markets. Our growing product range includes customer favourites such as crispy seaweed thins, frozen gyoza and bao, brilliant'broth, rice'noodles, and miso'easy, bringing the taste and quality of itsu into homes around the world.

The Role
You’ll central role in shaping how itsu [grocery] shows up in the world, creating beautifully crafted design that helps millions of shoppers discover, choose and love our products. From packaging and product launches to retailer activations, campaigns and digital content, you'll help bring one of the UK's most distinctive food brands to life.

Working closely with the Brand Director and wider marketing team, you'll lead the creative development of our chilled and frozen categories, ensuring every touchpoint is executed to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the creative direction and visual identity of itsu [grocery] packaging across UK and international chilled and frozen ranges, ensuring every product reflects our distinctive brand standards.
- Partner with the Brand Director to shape and deliver creative excellence across all marketing touchpoints, including campaigns, trade materials, brand presentations, packaging visualisation, point-of-sale, promotional assets, gift packaging, and internal communications.
- Champion design innovation across the business, inspiring the team with fresh thinking, new creative approaches, and unexpected ways to bring the brand to life.
- Create and deliver best-in-class creative assets for brand campaigns, including master templates, artwork adaptation, asset production, and final approval of creative outputs.
- Support the development of new packaging concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes, helping translate ideas into compelling, customer-facing experiences.
- Maintain exceptional design standards across every project, ensuring all work is delivered with accuracy, attention to detail, and a relentless commitment to quality.
This Is You
- You have proven experience creating exceptional design for consumer brands, with a portfolio that showcases standout packaging, beautifully crafted brand assets and commercially effective creative work.
- You're equally comfortable developing new concepts, refining existing assets or sweating the smallest production detail.
- You understand how design works at shelf, on screen and in hand, and take pride in delivering work that is both creatively ambitious and flawlessly executed.
- You'll bring fresh ideas, high standards and a genuine passion for great branding. Most importantly, you'll be hands-on, collaborative and excited by the opportunity to help evolve one of the UK's fastest-growing food brands.
