Company Description
Vanaways is a UK commercial vehicle broker based in Bristol. Founded in 2015, we supply new and electric vans to sole traders, growing businesses and fleets across the UK. We buy in volume and pass the discount on, so customers get a genuinely competitive deal without going through a dealership. Every make and model is available, alongside a range of finance and purchase routes, part exchange with collection of the old vehicle, and free mainland UK delivery. Every order is looked after by a named advisor. Vanaways was named Best Commercial Vehicle Broker in 2024. Our job is keeping our customers' businesses moving.
Role Description
As Senior Graphic Designer, you'll set the visual standard and be hands-on across the website, paid and social advertising and brand identity. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you'll play a leading role in a major website transformation, the evolution of our brand and our wider digital growth.
You'll be trusted to take a brief and run with it, make good calls without checking every detail and develop a junior designer so the team's output grows with the business. You'll be judged on craft and on results: good-looking work that doesn't convert or doesn't hold to brand, isn't finished work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
