Senior Group Accountant
As a Senior Group Accountant in the property industry, you'll play a key role in managing group financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will have the opportunity to partner with others in the business to add real value in your role.
Client Details
This organisation operates in the property industry and is based in London.
Description
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end reporting processes, including variance analysis and reconciliations.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Assist with Debt and Derivative reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the group's systems.
- Monitor and implement changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

Profile
A Successful Senior Group Accountant Should Have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and consolidation processes.
- Experience in group accounting within the property industry or a related sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £75,000 to £80,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position located in London, 4 days in office.
- Opportunity to work in the property industry with a focus on group financial management.
