Senior Group Accountant | Nottingham | PE-Backed Tech | £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Bens
I’m working with a high-growth, PE-backed technology business that is looking to add a Senior Group Accountant to its finance team.
This is a great opportunity for a practice-trained qualified accountant with 1–3 years post-qualification experience who is looking to build on their group accounting and financial reporting experience within an ambitious, international business.
The role will sit closely with the senior leadership team and offer broad exposure across group reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, and financial control.
- Take ownership of the monthly group consolidation and group reporting
- Produce consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow information
- Support group statutory reporting and year-end
- Get involved in a range of technical accounting areas under IFRS
- Work across multiple entities and international finance teams
- Support acquisition accounting and wider group finance projects
- Help improve the month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Work closely with senior members of the Group Finance team
- Develop your technical accounting and group reporting experience within a growing business

About you
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- 1–3 years post-qualified experience
- Strong grounding in financial reporting / group accounting
- Good understanding of IFRS
- Ideally some experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Ambitious and keen to develop within a technically focused Group Finance role
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and taking ownership of your work
